Basic and translational research and patient care are closely intertwined at Innsbruck Dermatology. We are known for research programs in immunology, infection and genetics diseases, which results in numerous publications by our scientists and physicians.
In den Vorlesungen der Module 2.12, 2.23 Haut- und Schleimhaut und 3.14 Dermatologie und Venerologie werden dermato-venerologische Inhalte gelehrt. Praktika, problemorientiertes Lernen und die Ausbildung im Rahmen des klinisch praktischen Jahres gehören ebenfalls zu den Lehraktivitäten der Klinik an der Medizinischen Universität Innsbruck. Zahlreiche Bachelor-, Diplom-, Master- und Dissertationsarbeiten werden betreut.
The laboratories offer diagnostic services including dermatohistopathology, immunohistology and immunofluorescence, testing for sexual transmitted disease (STD), mycology, allergy and immunology.
Interviews with members of the departments community are a method of collecting historical information. In preparing for the 150 year anniversary in 2023 interviews were recorded, preserved, transcribed and made available to the public.
